About

I’m a London based contemporary artist specialising in portrait and figurative oil painting and a graduate of the Art Academy London,

Capturing what makes the sitter unique is what interests me. Old or young, smokers, drinkers, singers, dog lovers, thinkers, direct gazers. Studying the nuances expressed by the individual - the way they smile, sit, hold their head, move their hands, through to the positioning of their body. From this, I look to convey the emotions and feelings being expressed using a range of realism techniques. It’s a fascinating, challenging and satisfying process.

I’ve recently exhibited at: South West Academy ((November 2022); The Mall Galleries Society of Women Artists exhibition (September 2022); Bath Society of Artists (May - July 2022 at Victoria Art Gallery); “Life After Life” exhibition at Highgate Gallery (March 2022); South West Academy 2021; the Federation of British Artist’s 2021 “Figurative Art Now” exhibition (Mall Galleries); Society of Women Artists 2021 exhibition; The Ruth Borchard exhibition (2021); Royal Portrait Society Exhibition at Mall Galleries (2020); London’s Newington Gallery (2019, 2020); “100 days of Solitude” on-line exhibition (2020); “Beyond the Likeness” on line exhibition” (2019) and at the Landmark Arts Centre.

In the meantime, if you’re interested in commissioning a portrait or in purchasing any of the pieces shown here, please do get in touch to talk about what I can do for you.

In an ever-changing world, why not let me create a lasting image of you or your loved ones, to enjoy now and for posterity.
